While Asian Americans did not bring coronavirus to the United States, they have been targeted and have been the victims of more hate crimes.
In a study done by California State University, in 16 of the nation’s largest cities, hate crimes against Asian Americans has jumped nearly 150 percent from 2019 to 2020.
