RippleMatch, a platform for recruiting from college campuses, announced a $23.5 million funding round today.
“The new funding will allow us to continue building out our intelligent hiring platform, empowering companies across the country to understand their data and build a recruiting pipeline that more accurately mirrors the demographics of the broader US population,” RippleMatch CEO Andrew Myers said.
Enterprise companies typically form relationships with university career services offices on only five to 10 campuses. RippleMatch’s platform aims to automatically identify and engage job candidates from more than 1,300 college campuses, according to the company.
The funding round was led by Invus Opportunities with participation from Renegade Partners and Gaingels as well as existing investors G20, Work-Bench, Alleycorp, Bullpen Capital and Accomplice.
“2021 has heightened the importance of diversity in the workplace, specifically how to recruit and retain underrepresented talent,” said Jessica Lin, co-founder and general partner at Work-Bench. “What makes RippleMatch stand out is their unique approach of automation and data insights to reinvent the recruitment funnel, ensuring reach is maximized, diversity goals are hit, and candidates get the best possible experience.”
Lin will take a board seat as part of this funding rounding.
RippleMatch had previously announced a $6 million funding round in 2019.
