With the forecast for the next week or so finally looking like we might be on the receiving end of some sunshine, just in time for the lifting of restrictions, everyone is getting together the final items for their summer wardrobe.
Retailers like Marks and Spencer are well aware of this too and have been doing their best to get shoppers interested with posts showing off their collections on social media.
On Tuesday (July 13) the upmarket British supermarket and fashion brand shared a post of one of its dresses on Instagram with their 1.8 million followers, getting quite the response from fans in the comments.

The post showed fashion influencer @dresslikeamum modelling the M&S dress, which features a crew cut neckline and ankle-length hem.
The white dress with black polka dots also featured a slit in the front centre of the hem and was matched with black sunglasses and a pair of black sandals as well as a silver and black shoulder bag.

The retailer captioned the post: “Us when we see the upcoming weather forecast @dresslikeamum”, making reference to the excited look on the model’s face.
In the comments though fans were all asking the same question:
“Will it be in petite?” Asked one.
“Does this dress come in petite or shorter style?” Echoed another.
“Is it in petite/short?” A third questioned.
Another shopper vented her frustration at the sizing of M&S’ dresses:
“This dress would be great if Marks & Spencer were consistent with sizing. I bought it along with another dress. Bought 2 sizes to compare. Other dress was a size 16.
“This dress had the buttons almost popping off at size 18. Be better!!!!”
